Kreativ JFX #40: Vierzig!

Herzlich Willkommen zum 40. (!) Kreativ JFX zwischen Sabrina (Sahnekrümel) und mir. Bei unserem wöchentlichen Jour Fixes geht es darum, sich jede Woche einer neuen Herausforderung zu stellen. Letzte Woche musste unser JFX krankheitsbedingt ausfallen, aber wir sind diese Woche zurück mit einem umso größeren Challenge. Wir haben uns für diese Woche etwas ganz Besonderes ausgedacht. Zum 40. Kreativ JFX wollten wir genau 40 Dinge für eine Karte verwenden. Unmöglich? Nein, seht selbst.

1 Karte, 6 große Secret Garden Blumen, 7 kleine Secret Garden Blumen, 13 kleine Summer Silhouette Blümchen, 1 Papierstreifen, 1 Textstempel, 2 Schmetterlinge und 9 Halbperlen, das macht genau 40 Dinge. Ich wollte sogar noch mehr auf die Karte geben und musste mich richtig zurückhalten! Die Challenge diese Woche hat mir echt Spaß gemacht!

Welcome to the 40th (!) Creative JFX between Sabrina (Sahnekrümel) and me. These weekly Jour Fixes should help us to challenge ourselves weekly. Last week we had to take a break because of illness, but we are back this week with a even bigger challenge. We came up with something special this week. For our 40th Creative we wanted to use exactly 40 things for our card. Impossible? No, just have a look yourself.

1 card stock, 6 big Secret Garden flowers, 7 small Secret Garden flowers, 13 small Summer Silhouette flowers, 1 stripe of paper, 1 sentiment, 2 butterflies and 9 pearls, that makes 40 in total. I wanted to put even more on the card and had to held myself back! I really enjoyed this week's challenge, so much fun!

Kreativ JFX # 34: Box mit Stanzteile

Sorry für die Verspätung unseres Kreativ JFX, aber nun ist sie da! Dieses Mal hat sich Sabrina (Sahnekrümel) eine Box/Verpackung gewünscht und zusätzlich sollen Stanzteile verwendet werden.

Wie ihr wisst, ich bin großer Verpackungsbastler, aber ich hatte noch leere Milchtüten zu Hause und habe deshalb dieses Mal ein Milchkarton verziert. Gut dass wir unser JFX haben, ansonsten würde ich nie Verpackungen basteln.

Sorry for the the late Creative JFX this week, but now we are here to show. This week Sabrina (Sahnekrümel) wished to make a box. Additionally dies should be used too.

As you know, I hardly make any boxes or any packinging at all. I had these empty milk boxes at home, so I decided to decorate one of them. It's good that we have this challenges, otherwise I probably would never make any packaging at all.

Dass ich Schmetterlinge am liebsten habe, ist euch ja nicht mehr neu. Jetzt wo das Wetter auch frühlingshaft wird, werdet ihr natürlich immer mehr von den schönen Tieren sehen. Wenn ich Schmetterlinge sehe, macht mich es automatisch glücklich. Wenn die Sonne noch dazu auch scheint, so und so. Ich mag diese Zeit, wenn es langsam Frühling wird...

Die Wasserfarben-Technik für den Schmetterlingshintergrund habe ich bei Jennifer McGuire gesehen. Sie macht super tolle Anleitungen und ist so kreativ, einfach unglaublich!

You already know that I'm very fond of butterflies, it's nothing new to you. Now the weather turns warmer and springlike, you will see these beautiful creatures much more often. When I see butterflies, my mood becomes automatically better and I feel happy. When the sun shines at the same time, even more. I do like this time of the year a lot, when spring gradually arrives...

I found this great technique for this watercolour background at Jennifer McGuire's blog. She has great tutorials and she's such a creative person, just amzazing!

Gestreift und verschnörkelt

Zugegeben, ich habe mir von der Woche mehr kreativen Output erwartet. Ich habe mir die Woche so schön kreativ vorgestellt, aber wie ist es so oft: wie man plant, so kommt es nie. Das Wochenende steht jedoch vor der Tür, da muss muss muss ich etwas basteln.

Die einzige Karte, die neben der gestrigen JFX Karte entstanden ist, ist diese hier. Ich habe aus Stempelgummiresten Streifen abgeschnitten und damit einen schönen Hintergrund gestaltet. Ich frage mich noch immer, wie man aus den Resten zum Beispiel Kreise schneidet, die dann auch tatsächlich rund sind. Verwendet ihr da Stanzen? Habt ihr Tipps für mich?

Inspiriert zu den Farben wurde ich von den Vorgaben bei Color Throwdown.

To be honest, I expected more creative output for this week. I wanted this week to be exceptionally creative, but things never go as planned. The weekend is just around the corner though and I have to, really have to craft a bit.

This card today is the only card I made this week, besides the one for the JFX. I bought some new stamps and they always come with excess rubber stamp material. I cut little stripes and made this nice background. I still wonder how to cut circles out of these rubber stamps. Some people do, and I don’t understand how they manage to get a real round circle. Do you use punches or dies? Do you have any tips for me?

The colours on the card were inspired by the Color Throwdown challenge.

Kreativ JFX #20: Atypische Valentinskarte

Hallo zum 20. (!) Kreativ JFX zwischen Sabrina (Sahnekrümel) und mir. Diese Woche dreht sich natürlich nochmals alles um den Valentinstag. Die Herausforderung jedoch ist es, eine Valentinskarte zu kreieren ohne dabei Herzchen oder sonstig Typisches für Valentinstag zu verwenden. Ja, eine knifflige Herausforderung.

Diese Woche habe ich das Stempelset „Secret Garden“ von Stampin‘ Up hervorgekramt. Dieses Set musste ich vor längerer Zeit unbedingt haben, liegt aber schon seit über einem halben Jahr unberührt irgendwo im Bastelhaufen. Mir war das gar nicht bewusst, dass ich das Set noch gar nie verwendet habe. Also musste die Situation schnell bereinigt werden. Es ist vielleicht nicht gut auf dem Bild erkennbar, aber ich habe die Blüten in 3D-Technik gemacht. Ich liebe diese 3D-Technik, aber an die Fusselarbeit mit der Schere muss ich mich erst gewöhnen.

Diese Karte ist wieder mal so eine Karte, in die ich mich vollkommen verliebt habe und am liebsten gar nicht mehr hergeben möchte. Leider bin ich in letzter Zeit nicht sehr kreativ und arbeite nur von einem JFX zum anderen. Das soll sich aber hoffentlich bald ändern, ich bin nämlich hochmotiviert und einige Geburtstagskarten wollen erstellt werden.

Hello to the 20th (!) Creative JFX of Sabrina (Sahnekrümel) and me. This week it’s obviously all about Valentine’s Day again. The challenge is to create a Valentine’s card without using hearts and all those typical Valentine’s themed things. Yes, it's quite challenging.

I finally used this stamp set “Secret Garden” from Stampin’ Up. I had to have this stamp set when I saw it, but it has been lying around untouched for half a year now. I didn't realise that I hadn’t have used it yet. This situation had to be changed and here you go, I finally used one of this beautiful flower stamps. You probably can’t see it that well on the picture, but I made those flowers with the 3D technique. I really do love this technique very much, but can't get quite used to cutting with the scissors. I need to practise.

This card is yet another card, I can't get enough of. I really love the outcome and therefore don't want to give this card away anymore. Unfortunately I've not been very creative and productive lately, only made cards for our JFX. I do hope it will get better soon, as I am highly motivated and need to create some birthday cards for a friend.

Kreativ JFX #19: Valentinsherz

So schnell geht’s und der nächste Kreativ JFX steht an! Valentinstag naht und wie kann es auch anders sein, unser Thema diese Woche sind Valentinskarten mit Herzchen und alles drum und dran.

Ich bin grundsätzlich kein großer Fan von Valentinstag, da dieser Tag ja doch eher aus kommerziellen Zwecken so aufgeputscht wird. Aber eigentlich kann man diesen Tag einfach als Anlass hernehmen und seinen Liebsten eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit schenken.

Ich bin noch immer ganz vernarrt in diese kleinen Pandabären von Mama Elephant und deshalb kommen sie in letzter Zeit sehr oft auf meine Karten vor. Ich hoffe ihr verzeiht mir, aber sie sind doch unwiderstehlich, oder nicht?

This week has passed by so quickly and it’s time for the next Creative JFX again. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and of course, our theme this week are valentine’s cards with hearts and all that stuff that comes with it.

I am not a big fan of valentine’s day, as I don’t think it has much tradition in Austria and is only so pregnant now for commercial reasons. Actually, why not take this occasion and give your loved ones a little something.

I am still very fond of these little panda bears from Mama Elephant. That's why you see them a lot in my works lately. I just can't get enough of them. They are just too cute!

Nikolopost

Wenn ich schon kein Nikolaussäckchen bekomme, obwohl ich im letzten Jahr doch sehr brav war, so habe ich gestern doch Post aus Deutschland erhalten - mit einer süßen Karte zum Nikolaustag. Nochmals danke an dieser Stelle! :) Ich habe mich sehr darüber gefreut. Man bekommt doch heutzutage viel zu wenig echte Post, immer nur Rechnungen...

Heute am Heimweg ist mir der Nikolaus in Natura über den Weg gelaufen. Zur gleichen Zeit habe ich gesehen, dass aus einem Fenster auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite kleine Kinder schon aus dem Fenster gespäht und total aufgeregt auf den Nikolaus gewartet haben. Und das hat mein Herz total erwärmt. Als Kind hat man noch so viel Freude an den kleinen, für den Erwachsen vermutlich unbedeutsam gewordenen, Dingen.

Kreativ JFX #4: Hello friend!

Oh, schon der 4. Kreativ JFX! Einmal in der Woche basteln Sabrina und ich zu einer von uns selbst gewählten Vorgabe. Am Donnerstag werden die Werke hergezeigt. Wie immer, nur zum Spaß und als Inspiration. Kein Wettkampf oder sonst was, es gibt nichts zu gewinnen.

Diese Woche sollte eine "Männerkarte" gestaltet werden und noch dazu Glitzer verwendet werden. Männer und Glitzer, geht das? Ja es geht. Seht selbst. Es ist nicht zuviel und ganz dezent, wie ich finde. Sabrina hat bestimmt auch etwas tolles gemacht, also schnell auch auf ihren Blog schauen!

The statistics, which this blog provides, show that I had visitors from all around the world, starting with the US to Russia, to Ukraine, to France, and even up to Brazil and more… wow! It's amazing. So I'd like to say ‚Hello' to them as well. Welcome to my little blog! I'm happy that you found your way here. Feel free to leave me any comments. It's much appreciated.

The card I'm showing you today is one of my all-time favourite. I love how it turned out. I created some banners with different patterned papers, sewed them on the cardstock and stamped the sentiment and the little birdies to complete the card. I don't know why, but looking at this card makes me smile, all excited and happy. Call me a weirdo.

Vor kurzem bin ich auf die Statistikseite von Blogger aufmerksam geworden. Ich habe gar nicht gewusst, dass ich ja doch einige internationale, wenn auch stille, Leser habe. Mein Blog konnte Besucher von Amerika, Russland, Ukraine, Frankreich, und ja sogar Brasilien verzeichnen. Ich bin echt verblüfft! Deshalb habe ich mir gedacht, dass ich heute auch mal die internationalen Leser begrüßen sollte. Ich find es toll, dass auch Leute von weit her auf meinen kleinen unbedeutenen Blog stoßen. Sehr cool!

Die Karte heute ist eines meiner Lieblingswerke. Ich habe Fähnchen ausgeschnitten und auf die Karte genäht, dazu habe ich das Wort 'Hello' und die süßen Vögelchen gestempelt. Ich kann nicht genug von dieser Karte bekommen und könnte es den ganzen Tag nur ansehen und bewundern. Ich weiß, ich bin eigenartig!
