Was ist neu?

My dear international readers, I finally decided to have my blog in English as well, as I realised I do have a lot of international readers too. So welcome to my blog, welcome to 2014 and welcome to Creative Jour Fixe between Sabrina and me. This weekly challenge is all about having fun, getting motivated and widen one's horizon. Every week we choose a challenge theme and show the projects every Thursday. It's so interesting to see what the other person comes up with. This week's theme is "everything new", that means to use something we have never used before.
I saw this wonderful winning card from Taheerah on the CASE Study challenge blog and I, yes again, fell in love. What a genius idea to use masking fluids and watercolours. I knew I had to try it too, so I went to my craft store and bought the missing supplies. So, what is actually new on my project? The technique is definitely something new and also the flower stamp (from my last US trip) and those coloured pearls have never been used before. I am pretty satisfied with the results, even though it took me a few attempts to get the hang of it. Now, please hop over to Sabrina's blog and see what she came up with. I know she got a lot of goodies for Christmas!
